Open Ocean members hail from numerous Media Lab groups, including Responsive Environments, Object-Based Media, Sculpting Evolution, and the Learning Initiative, as well as several MIT labs, including MIT Sea Grant, Mechanical Engineering, and the Future Ocean Lab. We have worked with more than a dozen UROPs from across the Institute, and numerous graduate students through activities ranging from workshops and events to project funding and thesis advising.
